Marketing to Youth Conference & Workshop, 14 to 16 May 2008

In a recent executive education program in which I taught, one of the participants said that “companies like Google became large global brands very fast, so it is quite possible to build a brand quickly.” While I agree that Google built its brand faster than most, it is also the exception, not the rule. Furthermore, when pressed for those other “companies” the participant referenced, she could offer no others."
