Awarded by:

Curtin University of Technology

Introduction

The Master of Accounting (MAcc) is a specialised advanced professional accounting course which aims to provide graduates from other disciplines other than accounting with knowledge and analytical skills in accounting and related financial management and legal aspects of business. This would equip them for professional accounting practice in Australia and Internationally.

This course is designed to meet the admission requirements of CPA Australia (CPAA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA). To advance to CPA or CA status, graduates must complete required modules in the CPAA’s ‘CPA’ program or the ICAA’s ‘CA’ program and an experience requirement.

This Master of Accounting is offered by Curtin University of Technology in partnership with the Marketing Institute of Singapore and is also a fully accredited Australian postgraduate degree.
