Post-Graduate Certificate in Asia-Pacific Business Management (Full-time)



Introduction

 

The Post-Graduate Certificate in Asia-Pacific Business Management (PCAPBM) provides theoretical foundation and practical knowledge and skills in Business and Management specifically in the Asia-Pacific region. It is designed to fit into the schedules of busy professionals while offering in-depth knowledge and unique insights into the subject matter.

 

Programme Objective


The objective of the PCAPBM programme is to give students from outside of the Asian region a platform to expand their knowledge in a specific area of business and management when the time commitment necessary to complete a standard degree programme is not an option.


Programme Structure & Curriculum

 

This 3-month full-time programme consists of 6 modules which will be delivered over 6 weeks of lessons alternated with 6 weeks of assignments:

This programme involves lectures, group discussions, case studies, project work, report writing and presentations by students. Classes are usually held on weekday mornings with a total of 90 contact hours. Each week of lessons will be followed by one week of assignments.


Examinations & Assessment


The programme is fully assessed based on projects, case studies and presentations. There are no examinations.

 

All students must fulfil the attendance requirement of at least 90% for each module.

 

Students may repeat any single module up to a maximum of two times. However, the student must complete the PCAPBM course within three years of registration, which is from the commencement of the first module.

 

All assessment will be moderated and/or examined by the Marketing Institute of Singapore Training Centre Academic Board . The decision of the Board is final and no correspondence will be entertained.

 

Award of Certificate


Students who have completed all necessary course works, successfully passed all required modules and met all financial obligations to the Institute shall be awarded the Post-graduate Certificate in Asia-pacific Business Management and be allowed to use the designatory letters “ PG Cert APBM ” after their name.

The course fees cover course materials and lesson delivery by local tutors and DO NOT include textbooks and other miscellaneous charges, if any. Payment by instalments is available subject to approval on a case by case basis. An additional one-time administration fee for instalment payment is also chargeable at S$350.00 .


A non-refundable application processing fee of S$300.00 (subject to prevailing GST rate) is chargeable upon application and submission of documents. Upon successful application, a one-time administrative fee of S$600.00 (subject to prevailing GST rate) is payable.


MIS Membership

 

The Marketing Institute of Singapore is a professional body for sales and marketing practitioners. All successful applicants must be individual members of the Institute.

 

 

Changes & Amendments


The Marketing Institute of Singapore Training Centre reserves the right to vary, change and amend the module content, entry requirements, course fees, curriculum, examination rules and regulations, lecturers, lecture date, venue and other aspects of the course at any time prior to and during the delivery of the modules.
