Introduction
The MSc in International Marketing Management is designed to create an opportunity for students to enter international marketing management positions in companies and / or develop international entrepreneurial skills. This programme provides an in-depth study of the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in developing business internationally.
It aims at developing international managers, skilled in interpersonal communications and cross-cultural capability, who can contribute a balanced outlook, incorporating an understanding of economic, environmental and social concerns in the context of developing a profitable international business.
Programme Objective
The programme objective is to study, review and put into practice both the “tried and tested” techniques and the latest concepts in international marketing.
Students will develop an understanding of the international marketing environment and the tools required to make a business or organisation successful in an increasingly competitive world.

The programme is offered on both full-time and part-time basis. For the part-time programme, classes are usually held two to three times a week on weekdays.
Examinations & Assessment
The core disciplines taught through the formal lecture, seminar and tutorial programme are assessed through coursework, group and individual projects and presentations and examinations (seen and unseen). Formal examinations enable students to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of course material as well as their ability to construct a clear / concise reasoned argument and analysis of the issues in question in a limited period of time. Individual and group research-based assignments enable students to integrate theory and practice and to provide constructive and explicit coverage of key issues.
Weightings (course / project work to examinations) vary from course to course at the discretion of the lecturers and will be made explicit to students on each course specification document.
Award of Certificate
Students who have completed all necessary course works, successfully passed all required modules and met all financial obligations to the institute and University of Buckingham shall be awarded the MSc in International Marketing Management by University of Buckingham .

English Language Requirements
- GCE “O" or “AO” pass in English
- English language requirement for international students whose first language is not English: IELTS 6.5 / TOEFL 590 / GCSE Grade C / TOEFL IB 95 / MISTC EL4 score 90% and above
- Students with MISTC EL4 below 80% will be required to attend 6 months of Business English Course during their first year of the programme

A non-refundable application processing fee of S$200.00 (subject to prevailing GST rate) is chargeable upon application and submission of documents.
In the event of a failed module, students are to pay a re-module fee of S$1,800.00 per module (subject to prevailing GST rate) and attend classes before they are allowed to submit their coursework for assessment or considered eligible to take the prescribed examination.
The course fees cover lesson delivery, Fee Protection Scheme insurance, medical insurance, MIS membership, and DO NOT include textbooks and other miscellaneous charges, if any.
MIS Membership
The Marketing Institute of Singapore is a professional body for sales and marketing practitioners. All successful applicants must be individual members of the Institute.

Changes & Amendments
The Marketing Institute of Singapore Training Centre reserves the right to vary, change and amend the module content, entry requirements, course fees, curriculum, examination rules and regulations, lecturers, lecture date, venue and other aspects of the course at any time prior to and during the delivery of the modules.
Application Procedures
An applicant must complete the application form and return it together with the following documents:
- Certified true copies of educational certificates/degrees/diplomas Certification may be made by your company or at Marketing Institute of Singapore Training Centre, in which case, the originals must be presented for verification.
- One passport-sized photograph.
- A crossed cheque of S$214.00 (incl. 7% GST) for the application processing fee (non-refundable) made payable to “MIS Training Centre”. Payment by Cash, NETS and credit cards are accepted at the institute.
