Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Business Management (Top-up)
(Full-Time)
Introduction
Working in a large, modern, international organisation, a medium sized company or even a small start-up firm requires a range of business capabilities. The most valuable employees are those who have not only a sound knowledge and understanding of various parts of a business but those who are quick learners and team players with leadership potential. The Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Management programme allows you to explore related areas in management and leadership where you can differentiate yourself from the competition and prove to employers that you can make an immediate and positive contribution to their organisations.
This programme is conducted in partnership with the Newcastle Business School (NBS), which is a part of Northumbria University, Newcastle, UK. The delivery is the same as in UK; with identical course content, contact hours and examination procedures.
Northumbria University is best known for its highly rated, practical courses and research programmes. It is a modern, government recognised university with strong industrial and professional connections in the UK and around the world. Northumbria University is one of the largest universities in Britain and courses offered are designed to prepare students for career success. Many Northumbria graduates have become leaders in their profession, including our most famous Honorary Graduate, Rt Hon Tony Blair MP, Ex-British Prime Minister.
Programme Objective
This degree provides students with a strong foundation in general business management. The overall aim is to provide students with the necessary business skills and knowledge to take on responsible management positions early in their careers. It also has a strong vocational emphasis.
