The Executive Council

The Institute's Executive Council is an elected body comprising distinguished personalities from the industry and academia. The Executive Council shall hold office for two years from its institution at an Annual General Meeting and has the responsibility as the policy-making body of the Institute. Its role is to set the direction for the Institute’s growth and development. The Secretariat of full-time staff assists in the daily operations of the Institute.

The Senate

The Senate is an Advisory and Consultative Committee to the Executive Council on the management of the Institute and the development of long-term goals and strategies for the Institute.

The Board of Studies

The role of the Institute's Board of Studies is to establish and maintain high academic standards for the Institute's education programs. It provides assurance of academic quality in all the education programs by monitoring closely the admission criteria, course delivery, instructional strategy and examination standards of each program. In addition, it reviews the nominations for the Top Student Awards, as well as the selection and appointment of the Institute's lecturers.
